Dr. Hess currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and Chief Executive Officer of the OSU Physicians Practice Group.  Dr. Hess also serves as the CEO of the OSU Medical Authority, a public trust supporting the OSU medical school and teaching hospital.

Dr. Hess holds a faculty position of Assistant Professor of Family Medicine specializing in the instruction of practice management issues.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University in 1979, completed his Masters degree 1981 and earned his doctorate from Oklahoma State University in 1990.

Dr. Hess resides in Owasso, Oklahoma with his wife Angela.  They have one son, John, a daughter, Bonnie, and one grandson, Johnny.
