John Fernandes, D.O., M.B.A.
President and Dean
Dr. Fernandes, a pathologist by training, is a graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
As president and dean, he is responsible for the overall operation of the OSU Center for Health Sciences and the College of Osteopathic Medicine. He oversees development and expenditures of resources and programs, and provides advice and counsel to the OSU president and the OSU system on medical matters.
Fernandes previously served as Dean and Chief Academic Officer of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University and is former Chair of its Pathology Department. He also was Professor and Chair of Pathology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and an Associate Professor of Pathology at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. |
