Jay Helm
Regent, OSU/A&M Board of Regents
Jay Helm was appointed to the OSU/A&M Board of Regents in 2001 through appointment by Gov. Frank Keating, and was reappointed by Gov. Brad Henry in 2009.

Helm, a Tulsa real estate developer and manager, is cofounder and president of American Residential Group. An OSU graduate, Helm serves the OSU system as a member of the OSU Medical Center Trust and the OSU-Tulsa Board of Trustees. Regent Helm received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business from OSU in 1970. 

Regent Helm’s ongoing, active support of our residency programs is invaluable to the future of OSU graduate medical education. We are honored to count him among our supporters and proud to recognize him as our 2009 Distinguished Public Service award winner.

The Distinguished Public Service Award is presented to individuals for achievements in the following areas:

Development of medical education so as to embody the highest standards of excellence and dedicated teaching

Improvements in health care for the community, state, and nation
