Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency

Welcome to the Oklahoma State University Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. Since its initiation in 1982, this four-year residency program has trained over 100 Obstetricians and Gynecologists practicing successfully across the nation. Currently the program trains two OSU and three OMECO residents annually.

The residents are taught patient management in various settings. The resident clinic promotes continuity of care with training in clinic setting with colposcopy, complex urodynamics, hysteroscopy, ultrasonography, and other procedures. In addition a life SIMS model is available for training. The residents manage L&D at multiple hospitals through their training. They also obtain hands on surgical training with various physicians. Rotations in addition to Obstetrics and Gynecology include Maternal Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Gynecology Oncology, and Urogynecology. Didactics include weekly High Risk Obstetrics Conference with University of Arkansas Medical School Angels Program, Preoperative Conference, and Book Club; as well as monthly Mortality and Morbidity Conferences, Journal club, and Skills Lab.
