Writing for the Web
When writing content for the web use:
- Short paragraphs
(it is difficult to read several sentences running together on the monitor)
- Paragraph titles
- Bullet points when you have a list over two items
Use the following techniques as well, but use them judiciously:
- Bold only important words
(never bold an entire paragraph)
- A variety of color
(keeping within approved OSU color scheme)
Here are two sample pages to help you
understand the difference in writing for the web versus print.
