OSU mobile clinic offers free immunizations

TULSA, Okla. – Helping keep area children healthy, the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences’ mobile telemedicine clinic is bringing free immunizations for school-age children to “The Mayor’s First Day of School Festival.”

The festival is sponsored by the Tulsa Mayor’s Office and Tulsa Parks, in coordination with NeighborFest, a series of summer neighborhood celebrations. The festival is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14 at Veterans Park, 1875 S. Boulder Ave.

The free immunizations are for children 4 years through 18 years old. Children must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Immunization records for each child are required.

The event features a welcome by Mayor Kathy Taylor. In addition to OSU’s free childhood immunizations, officials said school information, and applications for Tulsa City-County Library cards will be available.
