OSU health fair September 20 in Cleveland
TULSA, Okla.—Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Student Osteopathic Medicine Association (SOMA) presents a health fair in Cleveland, Oklahoma from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 20, as part of Cleveland’s Pioneer Day Festival.
The SOMA Rural Health Fair - Boomtown Blowout: Coming Together for Better Health in Oklahoma is presented in conjunction with the Pioneers of Cleveland. It offers vision, depression, blood glucose, and vital signs health screening. A children’s fair will feature a Jupiter Jump and the Cleveland Fire Department.
OSU medical students will assist with health screenings. Each year, SOMA holds a health fair in an outlying community, giving students a chance to learn more about community health care needs.
