OSU Medicine, MetLife and Tulsa County Medical Society to support Hamilton Middle School health fair
TULSA, Okla. - Medical students, residents and staff from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and College of Osteopathic Medicine will provide health education and screenings for Hamilton Middle School families at a health fair on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m.
to noon at Hamilton, 2316 N. Norwood.
Hamilton Middle School students and their family members will receive information on diet and nutrition and receive vision screenings, BMI measurements and sports physicals offered by OSU medical students and staff. Snoopy will be on hand for photos.
Tulsa County Medical Society and MetLife are co-sponsoring this first annual health fair. OSU Center for Health Sciences supports such health fairs to help integrate its medical students into the school's mission to improve access to quality health care in communities throughout Oklahoma, with emphasis on rural and medically underserved communities.
