OSU Medicine student group plans July 4 parking lot fundraiser

TULSA, Okla. Support the Student National Medical Association chapter at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine by parking at the OSU-CHS main campus this Fourth of July. Cost is $5 per vehicle between 3 and 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Proceeds will benefit chapter activities.

SNMA is the nation’s largest student-run organizations with more than 40 years of service to underserved communities. Membership includes nearly 5,000 pre-medical students, medical students, residents and licensed physicians. SNMA programs and activities are implemented by local chapters based at allopathic and osteopathic medical schools throughout the nation. OSU’s local chapter provides service to Eugene Field.

OSU Center for Health Sciences is located at 1111 W. 17th St.

Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa offers programs in osteopathic medicine, biomedical sciences and forensic sciences. Since its beginnings more than 30 years ago, OSU-CHS has grown to offer nine graduate degrees. On-campus programs, distance learning and OSU partnerships train osteopathic physicians, research scientists and health care professionals with an emphasis on serving rural and under-served Oklahoma.
