OSU Center for Health Sciences to host Lab Safety Boot Camp

Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences will host Lab Safety Boot Camp, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11 – 13 at the OSU-CHS main campus, 1111 W. 17th St., room D-007. The lab safety short course is presented by The Laboratory Safety Institute.

Those who are responsible for lab safety, or who teach or practice safe laboratory procedures in an educational setting, hospital, governmental lab or private sector lab should attend this course.

The course will help you learn to identify and manage common laboratory hazards. You will discover how federal, state and local environmental, health and safety requirements apply to the laboratory environment, and how to improve regulatory compliance, reduce liability exposure, and convince others to care more about health, safety and the environment.

Registration Fees: Register by Oct. 1 at a discounted rate of $695. After Oct. 1, the registration fee is $795. Student rates are $149 for current graduate students and $99 for undergraduate students. A discounted rate of $550 will be given to all Oklahoma State University employees.
