Sign up for the OSU Osteopathic Scrub Run, April 3

TULSA, Okla. -- Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine students will sponsor the annual Osteopathic Scrub Run on Saturday, April 3, starting at the OSU campus at 17th Street and Southwest Boulevard.

Sponsored by the OSU Student Osteopathic Medicine Association, the annual event benefits LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma. April is national Donate Life Month, highlighting the need for organ donations in Oklahoma. LifeShare statistics show a waiting list of 600 candidates for transplants.

The Osteopathic Scrub Run includes a one-mile fun run, a 5-kilometer and a 10-kilometer race. Events are chip-timed. This is the 31st year for the event, which began in 1979.

Scrub Run events and times:

• Lo Detrich Honorary 5K - 8 a.m.
• Colby Cassani and Brayden Jueschke Gift of Life 10K - 9:15 a.m.
• William Ferry Memorial 1-mile Fun Run - 9:20 a.m.
