Shrum approved as OSU Center for Health Sciences provost, dean

TULSA, Okla. – The OSU/A&M Board of Regents on Friday approved the selection of Kayse M. Shrum, D.O., FACOP, as Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences' new provost and dean of its College of Osteopathic Medicine, effective Jan. 24.  

Dr. Shrum has spent the past eight years with OSU-CHS as a faculty member, clinician and administrator, most recently as interim vice president of Academic Affairs and chair of Pediatrics. During her tenure, Dr. Shrum has doubled the patient base in Pediatrics, tripled the number of clinical trials in pediatric research,  led curriculum revision, established and personally supported community outreach and service opportunities to benefit children’s health, and has proven herself in the area of fundraising.
