Leadership, commitment, integrity and community service are values that connect FFA and Oklahoma State University
College of Osteopathic Medicine. This shared philosophy is why OSU Center for Health Sciences partnered with FFA for
Blue Coat to White Coat, a program to identify and cultivate talented students interested in careers as physicians. The
program is helping OSU-CHS achieve its mission to recruit and train physicians who want to live and work in smaller
communities and improve health care in rural Oklahoma.
OSU medical students who participated in FFA talk about how their involvement in the organization prepared them for medical school and give advice to other students considering becoming physicians in this video:
President Kayse Shrum, Joshua Priddle, D.O., and Baylee Brown, an OSU-COM early admissions student, discuss how FFA provides a foundation for medical school during the organization's state convention in Oklahoma City.
