OSU-CHS has partnered with Sister Rosemary Nyirumbe to support her mission to help women and children who have been affected by civil wars in Uganda and South Sudan. The OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine student chapter of Pros for Africa has conducted medical mission trips to Saint Monica's Girls Vocational School and OSU-CHS has adopted Saint Monica's as an international education partner, ensuring continued collaboration between the schools.
Sister Rosemary was named as one of Time's 100 Most Influential People in 2014.
