Scott Heatherington, D.O., Dean 1976-77.
Dr.
Heatherington received his Doctor of Osteopathy
degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine
and Surgery, Des Moines, Iowa, in 1944 and com­
pleted a one year internship at Detroit Osteopathic
Hospital from 1944-45. Before becoming Dean of
The Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine
and Surgery, Dr. Heatherington was in partner­
ship practice in Portland, Oregon and a member of
- e staff of Eastmoreland General Hospital, 1957­
6. Dr. Heatherington has been a member of the
American Osteopathic Association since 1945, and
a various times has serviced in the House of Dele­
~tes,
Board of Trustees, and was President of the
American Osteopathic Association from 1969 to
