When students first arrive in the halls of
OCOMS, they begin a process of
refinement that ultimately results in
obtaining the D.O. degree. They must
first learn the basic sciences from a well
trained faculty. Hours and hours of
study and faculty interaction are
required
to
learn the minute details of
basic science courses. The basic sciences
formulate the foundation upon which
clinical knowledge can be later built.
