OSU Rural Health to host National Rural Health Day lunch and open house
OSU-CHS faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the OSU Center for Rural Health open house and free barbeque lunch on Thursday, Nov. 15 from from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Phoenix Building.
The event celebrates National Rural Health Day, which is intended to showcase rural America, increase awareness of the unique health care issues facing rural communities and highlight the efforts of State Offices of Rural Health and others to address those issues.
The mission of the OSU Center for Rural Health is to support OSU-CHS and its College of Osteopathic Medicine by seeking to improve health care in rural Oklahoma through student education, residency training, research, program applications, advocacy and alliances with others who share its goals.
