Anthamatten joins OSU Physicians

AnthamattenJ. William Anthamatten, D.O., has joined Oklahoma State University Physicians as an ophthalmologist and clinical assistant professor of surgery at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa.

"We are pleased Dr. Anthamatten is returning to his roots at OSU and helping expand the eye care services we offer through the OSU Physicians clinics," said Dr. Kayse Shrum, OSU Center for Health Sciences provost and dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine. "His experience and expertise in the treatment of eye diseases will be a valuable asset for our medical students' education and benefit the patients we serve."

Prior to joining OSU Physicians, Anthamatten practiced at the Warren Clinic in Tulsa. His new office is located at 2448 E. 81st St., Suite 3700 in Tulsa and 101 Rockefeller Drive, Suite 100 in Muskogee. To schedule an appointment, call 918-499-6700 in Tulsa or 918-684-4393 in Muskogee.

Anthamatten graduated from OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1981 after completing an optometry degree at the University of Houston. He completed his residency at Tulsa Regional Medical Center (now OSU Medical Center) and a cornea and anterior segment disease fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.

Anthamatten is board certified in ophthalmology and is accepting new patients.
