Medical students to present first aid demonstrations at Camp Bandage
OSU-CHS will offer first aid demonstrations in the university's Mobile Telemedicine Clinic at Camp Bandage on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 400 N. Aspen Ave. in Broken Arrow.
Third-year medical students Matt Ayers, Blake Gorman and Dylan Morris will assist Debbie Martin, TeleHealth manager, with demonstrations of basic care of scrapes, scratches, falls and sprains and proper bandaging techniques. The students also will demonstrate osteopathic manipulative treatment and provide general health care information.
OSU-CHS is a sponsor of Camp Bandage, a safety camp and community outreach project for children and adults to learn about injury prevention, first aid, CPR and fire and home safety.
