Blewett to kick off biology, chemistry seminar series
Earl L. Blewett, Ph.D., associate professor of microbiology at OSU-CHS, will speak tomorrow at the Northeastern State University-Broken Arrow campus at 10 a.m. in the Liberal Arts Building, Room 112.
The first speaker of the Spring 2014 Biology and Chemistry Seminar Series, Blewett will discuss “Genes and Gene Arrangements in Baboon Cytomegalovirus.”
At his OSU-CHS lab, Blewett studies primate herpes viruses. He is currently characterizing a cytomegalovirus of baboons he isolated in 1996.
