Residency Fair highlights graduate medical training options

Medical students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of graduate training programs in Oklahoma and other states during the Residency Fair on Friday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Founders Hall.

Representatives from OSU Physicians, OSU Medical Center, the University of Oklahoma and the Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium of Oklahoma will introduce students to a wide variety of residency programs, including family medicine, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery and others.

Cancer Treatment Center of America, a new participant in the fair, will be recruiting for fellowships and residency position. Other Oklahoma hospitals attending the fair include St. Anthony, Integris Northwest and Integris Southwest.

Students can visit with representatives from Texas, Colorado, Missouri and Arkansas and various military programs. For more information about the fair, contact Barbara Newman at 918-561-8208.
