Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign events support OSU-CHS
The OSU-CHS Faculty and Staff committee will host a pair of events this month as part of the OSU Foundation’s annual campaign, “The Cowboy Way, Supporting OSU.” The campaign is an opportunity for faculty and staff to help support student scholarships, programs and departments at OSU-CHS.
A Books Are Fun Book and Gift Fair is set for Thursday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Founders Hall. The fair will include a number of products ranging from children’s storybooks and New York Times bestsellers to educational products and music collections. Items will be offered at 30-70 percent off retail price.
The Globe-Trotting Cook-off will showcase the culinary talents of OSU-CHS’ best cooks on Friday, April 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Founders Hall. Faculty and staff can enter favorite dishes into the contest or sign up to decorate a table. Prizes will be awarded for best American BBQ, Asian, Italian and Mexican dishes, as well as dessert and table décor. Get a taste of everything for a $5 or more donation. To sign up for the cook-off, email Jean Keene with the name and category of your dish.
Visit OSUgiving.com to make an online donation, download a pledge form or set up a payroll deduction. Faculty and staff can select a specific OSU-CHS fund to support with their donation. For more information about the campaign, contact an OSU-CHS committee member.
