OSU-COM student employees honored in Stillwater
Peter Sullivan and Carley Booher were recently honored for their work as student ambassador coordinators.
Carley Booher and Peter Sullivan were recognized for their exceptional work as OSU-COM student ambassador coordinators during a special ceremony on April 16 in the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater.
Lindsey Kirkpatrick, director of admissions and recruitment, nominated the second-year medical students for the OSU Student Employee of the Year contest. Outstanding student employees throughout the OSU system are recognized during National Student Employment Week. Booher and Sullivan each received a plaque in recognition of their nomination.
“Peter and Carley have shown remarkable leadership as they balance the rigors of medical school with a part-time job,” said Kirkpatrick. “They have been instrumental in planning and implementing our major recruitment events and played a key role in the success of our inaugural Operation Orange summer camps.”
As coordinators, Booher and Sullivan manage 65 OSU-COM student ambassadors who assist with applicant interviews, recruitment events and campus tours. They also respond to recruitment emails and assist in the Admissions office.
