Third-year medical student wins inaugural OPAC award

The Osteopathic Political Action Committee awarded third-year medical student Owais Durrani its inaugural James M. Lally, D.O. ‘Most Politically Active Student’ Scholarship last week during the American Osteopathic Association’s annual business meeting in Chicago.

Durrani has held office in the university’s Student Government Association and represented OSU-COM last year as an alternate voting delegate from Oklahoma at the AOA House of Delegates meeting.

OPAC is the political arm of the American Osteopathic Information Association and was established in 1979 to be the voice of the osteopathic profession in campaigns and elections.
