The OSU-CHS Office of Continuing Medical Education will host the 33rd annual Primary Care Update on Nov. 4-6 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tulsa – Warren Place.
The conference features several well-known speakers who will be lecturing on a number of primary care topics, including Zika virus, child abuse and neglect, anxiety disorders, dementia care, rheumatology, blood borne pathogens, HPV vaccination, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, global health and back pain care. Speakers will also address updates in diabetes care management, osteopathic board certification, payment reform, social media and medical malpractice litigation and risk management. The conference will also include a proper prescribing lecture approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners.
The conference is open to practicing and retired physicians and health care professionals, students, interns, residents and fellows. Pre-registration is available through Oct. 28. Participants may also register on the day of the conference for an additional fee.
