OSU-CHS will launch its 2016 United Way campaign on Oct. 14 with a come-and-go luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in Founders Hall. The campaign will run through Oct. 21.
Additional activities during the week include daily lunches and snack breaks, a scavenger hunt, a movie screening, a Reps for Cash competition and miniature golf. The week-long campaign will wrap up with a Friday Fun Day from 3-5 p.m. on Oct. 21. The event will feature a rock wall, football challenge, an obstacle course and more. The cost for lunch is $5, snacks are $2 and Friday Fun Day is $5. A one-time $35 pledge will get participants a pass for every activity.
Employees will receive their pledge cards via campus mail next week and are encouraged to complete them to be entered in prize drawings. Completed pledge cards should be delivered to Bria Taylor, director of Outreach and Special Events, in person or by campus mail.
OSU-CHS and OSU-Tulsa have set a combined goal for 2016 of raising $60,000. Contributions support the Tulsa Area United Way’s 60 partner agencies that serve more than 50,000 people in the six-county service area. To learn more about the campaign, visit the OSU-CHS campaign website.
