OSU medical students offer ‘Centered Around Health Fair’

OSU-CHS will host a community health fair from 9-11 a.m. on Nov. 9 at The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges. The health fair is free and open to the public.

OSU medical students organize and deliver the health fair each year as part of the service-learning component of the medical school’s Developing the Physician curriculum.

More than 100 second-year medical students will offer a variety of health screenings and information during at the event, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol screenings and smoking cessation, oral health and stress management education.
