Expect heavy traffic as the 2016 Linde Oktoberfest Tulsa kicks off at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 at River West Festival Park near OSU-CHS. The annual celebration of German food, music and culture will run through Sunday, Oct. 23.
Jackson Avenue will be closed to traffic during the festival. Access to campus will be available from Southwest Boulevard and West 17th Street.
Students, faculty and staff visiting campus are encouraged to schedule extra commute time as traffic around campus will be congested. The festival runs 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
