Employee Appreciation event highlights
Briá Taylor receives Clyde B. Jensen Award
Staff Advisory Council president Ronda Shouse announced the 2011 recipient of the Clyde B. Jensen Award. Briá Taylor has received the honor given by SAC members to a fellow member who has given exemplary service to the council.
Perrin and Bullard receive Awards of Excellence
SAC Awards of Excellence recipients are Al Perrin, classified and James Bullard, non-classified.
Receiving honorable mention were Linda Lawrence, Jean Keene, Kimber Edwards, Cate Butsko, Shawn Flock, Susan White, Joni Finfrock and Gene Bates. Also, Senait Assefa Ph. D., Kelly Dipboye, Chad Landgraf and Amanda Sumner.
SAC scholarship recipients named
Scholarship recipients are Shameka Jefferson, Cyndi Canning, Keelie Battles, Lindy Kroenert, Alexander Bryant, Amanda Fisher, Shontay Patterson, Carol Sarafin, Linda London and Jonathon Miller.

OSU Med students demonstrate suturing at MASH camp
CME sets record
OSU-COM Office of Continuing Medical Education had record attendance at its 14th annual Emergency Medicine review, with 361 physicians and healthcare professionals attending from 21 states.
“That’s the highest attendance ever for an OSU-COM CME-office sponsored conference,” reports Rob Robinson, program coordinator. The CME office has hosted conferences for 27 years.
