OSU Physicians Eastgate adding bi-lingual interpreters for OB/GYN
OSU Physicians-Eastgate Metroplex Clinic will offer bi-lingual English/Spanish services especially for obstetrics and gynecology patients, beginning Monday, Sept. 9.
Translators fluent in Spanish will be on-site each Monday and Friday at the clinic, located at 14002 E. 21st St., Ste. 1130, in the former Eastgate Center.
OSU Physicians Eastgate Metroplex physicians are Joe Johnson, D.O., OSU clinical assistant professor in obstetrics and gynecology; and OSU clinical associate professors William Po, M.D., Lance Frye, M.D., Michelle McElroy, D.O. and Lori Gore-Green, D.O.
The clinic is open Monday through Friday from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and accepts new patients. Most major insurance is accepted. The OB/GYN services at the clinic include gynecology, obstetrics, pre-natal care and well woman visits. The clinic also offers family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health and adult medicine. For more information, or to make an appointment, call (918) 439-1500.
Donate clothing by Aug. 26 for Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless
The Student National Medical Association at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine is collecting clothing donations for clients at the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless. Felicia Ekpo, SNMA president, said needed items include men’s underwear, socks for men and women, and men’s jeans and slacks.
Place donations in “Tulsa Day Center Donations” bins on the first floor lobby by the student lounge. Items will be delivered to the Center on Friday, Aug. 26.

The OSU-COM blood drive is from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, in Founders Hall. Donors can sign up in the Student Affairs office.
