OSU Mobile Cardiology ribbon cutting set for Tuesday
Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and OSU Medical Center officials will celebrate the opening of Oklahoma's first and only traveling cardiac care unit with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. The event will take place at the OSU Medical Center, located at 7th and Houston in downtown Tulsa. Following the ceremony, visitors are invited to tour the mobile unit. OSU Mobile Cardiology offers on-site cardiac diagnostic testing using state-of-the-art technology. The unit's mission is to provide comprehensive cardiac testing in rural and underserved communities throughout Oklahoma.
Events support United Way $52,011 goal
OSU in Tulsa United Way campaign chairs Larry Cochran and Ryan Miller are leading campus United Way campaign activities, including burger lunches, bake sales and a chili cook-off. A lunch today at OSU-CHS and on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Houston Center, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., offer a burger, chips and drink, or two hot dogs, chips and drink, is $5.
A chili cook-off on Friday, Sept. 23, in Founders Hall will have a video link between campuses.

Join the Tulsa Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in Dunlap Auditorium for “Awakenings,” starring Robert De Niro and Robin Williams. Admission is free and drinks and snacks will be served. The movie is rated PG-13.
