Building renovations are progressing
Bruce Benjamin, Ph.D., interim vice-provost for graduate studies, presented an update on the progress of building renovations at a recent meeting for OSU-CHS faculty and staff.
Renovations have begun in clinical skills and the library. Lighting and audiovisual upgrades in D107 and Dunlap should begin soon, along with a total renovation of D007. During work on these lecture halls, first-year medical students are attending morning lectures in the Helmerich Research Center at OSU-Tulsa.
In the library, two group study rooms are being added, additional study carrels have been installed and restrooms are being updated. Anatomy lab renovations are scheduled to begin on Dec. 8.
The renovations are being made to accommodate increased class size and to keep pace with technology advances.
