When Oklahoma’s brightest graduates enter OSU’s medical school, they commit to a life of service. To represent their dedication, 96 first-year College of Osteopathic Medicine students receive the iconic white coat. OSU’s nationally ranked medical school in Tulsa trains physicians to meet the state’s greatest needs, especially in underserved metropolitan and rural areas. OSU medical students wear the white coat as a visible symbol of their profession. But, underneath the jacket, the commitment to others is all Orange.
