As part of our efforts to support rural physicians and hospitals, the Center conducts studies which help determine whether or not a rural town can economically support a specialist or sub-specialist.  These economic feasibility studies give local decision makers the knowledge necessary to determine if their community can afford to recruit certain types of doctors.
