Step 2: Supplemental Application
- Deadline: March 1, 2012
- Applicants may submit the Supplemental Application at anytime. OSU-COM does not ‘invite’ applicants to send in the Supplemental Application.
- Fee: $40.00
- The application is available to submit online.
Step 3: Letters of Recommendation
Deadline: March 1, 2012
Letters should be sent directly to OSU Center for Health Sciences from the evaluator or can be sent via Interfolio or VirtualEvals. The student may choose between the two tracks below:
Track 1
- One letter from a college or university pre-professional/pre-med committee
- One letter from an osteopathic physician (D.O.)
Track 2
- Three letters preferably from faculty (2 science and 1 non-science faculty)
- One letter from an osteopathic physician (D.O.)
- Letters of recommendation must be on official company letterhead.
- Recommenders must state their relationship to the applicant within the letter.

Step 4: Personal Interview
All on-campus interviews with the Applicant Interview Committee are by invitation only and are mandatory for further consideration.
Interviews will be conducted October to April.
The following information must be on file before an interview is considered:
- MCAT Scores
(Medical College Admissions Test)
- Official MCAT score must be within 3 years of application
- Completed AACOMAS Application
- Completed Supplemental Application
- One D.O. Letter of Recommendation
- Pre-professional Committee Letter of Recommendation OR three Letters of Recommendation from Faculty
