College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Early Admissions Program
The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OSU-COM) seeks to admit students who desire to become primary care physicians in rural and underserved Oklahoma. The Rural and Underserved Primary Care Early Admissions Program allows students to complete pre-doctoral medical training in seven years.
OSU-COM and the selection committee recognize that the OSU Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) provides rigorous academic preparation for a variety of careers. Utilizing this curriculum for the first three years on the Stillwater campus, and combined with the OSU-COM first year curriculum as their fourth year, students in the program are able to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from OSU.
The students then progress through the second, third and fourth years of the rural and underserved medical track to graduate with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
