Study Tips
- Make a study schedule and stick to it
- Take breaks
- Prioritize your time
- Find a good studying environment
- Study by yourself or in a group - whatever works best for you
- Record lectures if you learn audibly
- Review the PowerPoints from the lectures in the student area of Centernet
- Make use of the student-to-student area of Centernet
- Set goals for yourself at the beginning of the semester

- Don’t get behind in a class, you will have trouble catching up
- If you are having problems, see the professor as soon as possible

Ways to save money
- Do you need a home phone and a cell phone? If not, just choose one.
- Keep your money in a savings account and take out only what you can spend for the month.
- Limit the times a week that you eat out.
- Remember to live like you are a medical student, not a doctor!
Planning a budget Once you are given your loan checks, decide how much money you can spend per month. Remember to set aside money for:

- Bills (cable, utilities, electricity, phone, cell phone)
