Auxiliary to Okla. Osteopathic Association Student Research Award

The auxiliary funds students’ participation in summer research program between their first and second years under the supervision of faculty mentors.

Requirements

• Deadline April 30
• Applicant is full-time osteopathic medical student
• Entering second year of medical school in upcoming academic year
• Application/Project submitted to be reviewed for scientific merit and feasibility:
  • Student’s perceived understanding and interest in/and of the selected research project
  • Faculty mentor’s capability to support the project
  • Probability of project for summer timeline
• Recipient required to attend Benefactors’ Luncheon, to participate in Research Day, and other activities as appropriate
• Scholarship Application packets available in the Office of Research
