Lew Wentz Foundation

This foundation was established in 1926 by Lew Wentz for student loans. Today, the Lew Wentz Foundation provides OSU’s largest scholarships, based on academic standing with an emphasis on citizenship and leadership. Lew Wentz Foundation Scholars at OSU Center for Health Sciences are the senior-most graduate students enrolled in the DO/PhD program, demonstrating a commitment to scholarship and research.

Requirements

  • Deadline February 29
  • Applicant is enrolled in DO/PhD program
  • Preference given to the most-senior students
  • Demonstrated commitment to scholarship and research
  • Recipient submits year-end report on accomplishments in research
  • Recipient may receive award a maximum of two (2) years
  • Recipient required to attend Benefactors’ Luncheon and any additional activities as appropriate
